As you know the Fire Department does install free smoke detectors.  You can go to your local Fire Station to put in a request to get some or call  (410) 396-SAVE.  You should have a smoke detector on every level of your home.

For the people living in the 21223 Zip Code there is a way to support your community.  Operation Reach-Out Southwest has meetings the 1st Thursday of every month, located at the corner of Fulton Ave. and Fayette St., in the Bon Secours building.  These meetings address any issues the citizens of our community may have and give you insight on what is going on within the community.  I strongly urge anyone to attend these meetings.
