10/3/2009 3:51:26 PM  1272  WASHINGTON BLVD.  Box 55-4.

E-55 arrived on scene to find two, 2 story brick dwellings with smoke showing.  E-55 went in 1274 and found fire 1st floor rear.  E14 grabbed second line and went into 1272 which had at this time fire showing 2nd floor front.  E14 advanced line in 1272 and found fire 1st floor rear.  There was already a ladder going to the second floor in the dwelling (appeared to be under renovation)  which we used to advance to the second floor and found heavy fire front to back.  The backporch 2nd floor collapsed which caused Battalion 6 to call  the evacuation.  all visible fire was knocked down in 1272 prior to evacuation, with a good amount of fire in 1272.   E-14 out approx. 2 hrs.
