3/19/08 Met with Architect
The firehouse will be built with the leadership in energy and enviromental Design (LEED)
- This will be a more energy efficient firehouse and will help attract fundraising since it will be considered a green building
- be in compliance with the green building program
- Efficient water utilization
- Energy efficient operation
- cleaner indoor enviroment and indoor air quality (for people with allergies)

2nd floor dormatory style, keeping two offices for officer and medics.
Drainage system put in place for the appartus floor
We will keep the poles and the tin ceilings (possibly a 4th pole added)
Expanding the 1st floor area and having a communication center.
They want to keep kitchen the way it is, but updating cabinets and appliances
We are going to show them E26 and E41 in the near future the give them ideas to the exact layout of the building.
If you would like to see something stay as is we need to know so the architects can leave it alone in there drawings.
We will be meeting with the architect again in about 3-4 weeks with preliminary drawings and cost estimates
